Things have gotten awkward in the Accounts Department at Bargain City Supermarket (where Angela works) since the local airing of Life & Times in the Caribbean. As a result, the staff does a team-building exercise in order to boost morale.
Sailbourne Entertainment ends Life and Times in the Caribbean then returns months later to persuade the Jones family to do a second season. Meanwhile Irving and Anderson, Angela's mentally ill brother, join forces to get rid of a mouse which takes up residence in the Jones' kitchen.
One of Irving’s childhood friends dies suddenly of a heart attack, forcing Irving to think about his life, his mortality and what would happen to his family if he died suddenly. Meanwhile Anderson is prescribed new medication which has unexpected side effects.
The Jones family, along with Anderson, Kirk and Ann-Marie are scheduled to go on a 7-day Caribbean cruise. However due to a miscommunication between Irving and Angela, the deposit was never paid. So they end up vacationing at a beach house.
